What can we learn from the constant balance of diabetes?

People with type 1 diabetes must constantly balance inputs (food, stress) with outputs (insulin, exercise). This is a heightened version of the balance we all need. It shows how delicate our internal chemistry is and how much our daily habits affect our energy.
