Scientists tracked over 95,000 children in the United States to see if the MMR vaccine made them more likely to develop autism. They even looked closely at children who had older brothers or sisters with autism, who already had a higher natural risk. The study found that the vaccine did not increase the risk of autism for any child at any age. Even for kids with a family history, getting the vaccine did not trigger autism.
