Different colors of light have different wavelengths. Think of ocean waves. Some are giant, long, and lazy. Red light is like that—its waves are long and spaced out. Other waves are tiny, short, and choppy. Blue light is like that. These short, choppy waves are much easier to disrupt when they hit things.
